Transportation links
Blackheath, Greenwich, Docklands, City and Central London
are now very well served by the
Jubilee line (underground) station at North Greenwich.
This gives easy access for commuters to most areas of London.
In Greenwich village there are also two Docklands
Light Railway stations, Cutty Sark and Greenwich. The
DLR line services the Isle of Dogs and goes right through
to the Bank station, in the City of London. There is a third
DLR station at Deptford Bridge on the borders of Greenwich,
Deptford and Lewisham.
In
addition, British
Rail and Connex
Railways have a number of commuter network stations from
Greenwich down to Abbey Wood serving London stations including
London Bridge, Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Waterloo, Charing
Cross and Victoria.
There
is also an extensive bus services serving many different
London and South-East locations.
